Love Doesn't HURT!

OK, I make it a point not to bring religon or politics beacause I think people are SUPPOSED to disagree about things. That's what makes us humans. That's what distinguises us from lower life forms. The OTHER thing that sets us apart is the ability to LOVE.

Love is probably the greatest thing "insert whoever or wherever you think you came from" gave us . The ability to cherish, adore and nurish the inner feelings that keeps our blood flowing.

That's why I say "LOVE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HURT!" One of my sons came to me and said "I love her dad but I hate her at the same time. We are always fighting and I'm miserable around her. I said: "Then why don't you get away from each other?" He said "Because I love her"

WRONG!!! If you have to have an affair, use abuse of any kind "verbal or physical", have to drink, do dope or say "I'm staying because of the kids", GUESS WHAT: IT'S NOT LOVE

Let's say you have a garden with beautiful flowers. Then the weeds take over and you can't see the flowers anymore. Then it's time to PLOW THE GARDEN!

I'm on my 2nd marriage. The 1st one lasted 19 years. I woke up one morning and there was nothing but an email saying "Dear Chuck, I need to find myself. I know you'll be OK with the kids." Now the shocker in all of this was we never fought. NEVER a loud word or an arguement, but I guess it had been on her mind for a long time.

Well, not exactly the best exit, but after these years I look back and at least it WAS AN EXIT for her. I went on to finish raising all 6 wonderful kids and we are still probably the closest family on earth. "minus her of course" She calls them 3 or 4 times a year. Every one are Dad's pride and joy.

My wife now of 5 years, Tonya is probably the most understanding, beautiful woman you will ever meet. Do you think it was easy for her to fall for a crazy guy like me with 6 kids? Not hardly, but THAT'S LOVE!!!! It's beautiful. It doesn't hurt!!! She's my best buddy and we can talk about ANYTHING. It's LOVE and it's truely a beautiful thing.

If it hurts. Call Dr. Phil, Call a friend, Call a family member. If anyone EVER touches you CALL THE COPS!!!!

Guy and Gals, we're only here for a short while. That's why I'm trying to do what I am doing. I want that one little legacy left etched forever in a DVD or VHS tape that leaves my name on that screen. I have been lucky with my life. Don't get me wrong. I have busted my butt all of it. Many times working 2 jobs to get it done. But I'm no quitter and I have a dream. And if I can make some of you laugh along the way, that's a wonderful thing.
