Update - Finally going to my PREMIERE | posted: 11/14/2009 at 11:56:51 AM |
I am very excited. Next Sunday - Nov 22nd at 3PM I am going to walk into a theater, pay my money, sit down and watch a movie on the big screen that I am featured in. Thankskilling
I know it sounds like a daily thing to some of my acting friends, but to me it's the accumulation of 3 YEARS of work, publicity and traveling.
My dream started Dec 5th 2006 when my website http://www.DeadBodyGuy.com went live for the first time.
6 weeks later, I'm front page New York Times, on TODAY the first time and invited to be in my first tv show and movie. I did the movie 'STIFFS' with Danny Aeillo and Lesley Ann Warren but it never got released YET!!! It's suppose to be out next year.
Then came 'What I Like About You' with Jenny Garth and Amanda Bynes. It was a wonderful experiance and when the show was going to be shown the first time, I called everyone I EVER MET to have them watch the show and guess what? All they showed was the top of my BALD HEAD. I was some kind of sick inside joke because the series was canceled. get it? DEAD
Now comes Horrorween.. it's been filming for 3 YEARS so I'll leave that at that. i haven't done the 1st scene for it and I'm the STAR LOL..
I've been to a theater for a short I did "The Turtle' which was GREAT so thanks to them. i have seen myself on MANY talk shows and CNN, VH1, TMZ and those things, but next Sunday will be the ACTUAL dream coming true.
3 years, 50 million hits, countless interviews, tons of emails, and many hours of losing sleep for this ONE DAY!!
Next Sunday, after 3 years, my 15 minutes of fame will finally come.
So next time you hear someone as a '1 shot wonder' or 15 minutes of fame. Think about how long it takes and how much work it take for 15 minutes.
By now you're bored, but I wanted to thank you ALL for the support and love and in a couple of weeks I am opening up a new website to try to help others live a dream like you guys have done for me.
